Loughborough Pride Returns: Bigger, Bolder, and Free for All
Loughborough is set to burst with colour and celebration this summer as Pride makes its highly anticipated return to Queen’s Park on Saturday, 16 August 2025. Organisers promise the event will be “louder, prouder, and more fabulous than ever,” as the town prepares for a vibrant Pride Picnic open to all ages.
The free, family-friendly event will run from 2 to 6 pm, featuring live music, dazzling performances, community stalls, and an atmosphere filled with what organisers call “pure queer joy.” The festivities won’t end with the picnic—revellers can look forward to a series of afterparties hosted by partner venues across the town, ensuring the celebration continues into the evening.
Loughborough Pride has secured support from Charnwood Borough Council, Love Loughborough, and Leicester Pride, helping to keep the event accessible and inclusive for everyone. Organisers are encouraging the community to join in and help “keep Pride free and fabulous for all,” as preparations ramp up for what promises to be one of the summer’s standout events.
